Well, here I am in the lounge at Charles de Gaulle Airport for 7 hours before I fly to London…I hope. When I arrived in Mexico City and went to KLM, I was supposed to transit in Amsterdam to London, but was told I had the wrong COVID-19 test. I would have to take another test, but the results would take 24 hours, so I couldn’t travel.
I asked for another routing through Paris: a great flight on Air France with good food and service the whole way plus three seats to myself. I hope to arrive in London tonight, where driver / friend Mark will drive me to my isolation location.
It has been another very busy month with Luna & Craig’s wedding, which was so beautiful in every way; I felt very honoured to play my roles of Mother and Poet!
I have left Namaste, but will return to Ajijic in September because I have rented a space. It’s the closest I have found to my ‘Betty Mountain Top’ concept. It is called Co-Living, where I have my own room with TV and a beautiful bathroom, as well as shared kitchen, common rooms, dining room, etc. … and a salt water pool. They have room for 8 people on a beautiful property. It’s a great concept and located in the best part of town. I have signed a 6-months lease with option for another 6 months. This is a commitment for me. I am waiting for pictures. That’s my biggest news!
