Below please click here for an online issue of Psychology Today where you can find a wonderful article which was forwarded from my new friend Larry Culliford, who lives in the UK. Larry also has a new book.and we were both reviewed in the Inter Religious Journal, Insight. My book was reviewed by my lovely friend Jenny.
Larry had contacted me and suggested we send one another our books…great idea. When I went to the post office in Canada, the cost of sending my book to Larry in the UK was three times the cost of buying it on Amazon in the UK! (I haven’t told Larry this story.) Well, his marvellous book arrived titled …THE BIG BOOK OF WISDOM. It is a very practical book that anyone from any walk of life can gain knowledge and insight from. My favorite take away in the chapter: Threat, Loss, Pain, Healing, and Growth is if you have gained some wisdom, you have the readiness to face death with a smile! That is certainly my goal when the time comes.
Larry is a retired Psychiatrist, who I haven’t actually met yet, but hope to next week when I spend the month of September in Worthing by the sea! It is always perfect to meet someone of like mind. Larry’s book is a great read!
Betty, do you remember that when David Niven lay in bed dying, his last move was to put a smile on his face and give a two thumbs up salute? Always a classy guy!

PS: Don’t forget to stay clear of any large black bags left on the Worthing line.
