We are all on a journey through life. With each step and breath we take, we have the possibility of enlightenment to enter our life. When it does, we expand and enliven the opportunity to positively affect everyone around us. That journey is the search for spiritual intelligence.
After being hit by a car several years ago not long after retiring, I had an epiphany. I realised that I had been on my own spiritual journey since my first visit to India in 1990. Since then, I have travelled to 155 countries, sometimes as a tourist, sometimes on business, sometimes for my charity. I have made friends all over the world. But, I still had unanswered questions. So, I decided to sell everything, pack up my life and travel the world with a difference. This time I would journey not as a tourist but as a traveller wanting to learn from every wise person who crossed my path, and every challenging situation I found myself in. I would document my learning from the people I interviewed across the world, a two year project turned into my new book – “In Search of Spiritual Intelligence”.

Dear Betty,
congratulations twice for two books!! You are a great inspiration to world travellers and thinkers.
I have just returned from Chaing Mai where i did the first part of the qigong teacher training its Ancient Chinese medical qigong with contemporary sports science and bio-hacking…a wonderful master teacher Tevia Feng.
The next part will be in Bali in June if I can make it. At the end of last year I bought an investment property in Battery Point it has taken a lot of work and energy to get it flowing. I had a major exhibition of paintings last July and since then have been very quiet in the art world, regaining energy and planning my next move. In August I am doing a Master class with a teacher who co incidentally lives in Tasmania. He travels world wide teaching.
