I have really enjoyed Christmas in the UK, lights in London, Christmas in the UK is a bigger deal than in Canada, everyone gets involved in some way, I attended Carol services, recitals, met friends and attended dinner parties.
On Christmas Day, about 15 of us hired the chef at the local pub (it’s a fancy pub). Once the pub closed, we had excellent Christmas dinner with presents and all the trimmings (fun).
The neighbors are having a New Years eve party, my job is to bring cheese tray, no one will let me near a stove!!(smart).

Hi Betty Thanks for another great report and so glad you are having a great time. We are now in California with Jonathan and family until January4th and after flying home for a few days, we are going to Barbados to stay with friends there for a week, so that will be our winter break!
