Well, it has been a long time since I did any writing on my blog.
It has been a very busy couple of months. My Power of Attorney Doreen is quite sick and now in a nursing home, so the bank and all the paperwork is in real mess… I am on a steep learning curve to say the least. My friend Ravi was in a serious motorcycle accident with broken ribs, punctured lung and fractured collar bone. I spent a lot of time helping him at the hospital, and he is now healing. It will take a while.
I love living in the hotel. It’s close to the plaza and a lovely Mexican family takes very good care of me.
I am in the final chapter of my life and am trying to decide how and where I want to spend it. Do I want to stay in Ajijic? Do I want more of a spiritual life? Maybe with the BK’s? In India? What kind of projects do I want to be involved in?
I am still very healthy and happy here! I feel the world is shifting very quickly. People are passing on with numerous health issues…and politics—well, better we not discuss! Financially, I need to be very careful. My capital is nearly depleted, and I will need to be very resourceful in whatever I do. I never thought I would still be here, looking at an 82nd birthday in three weeks!
Ajijic is like a little paradise in the middle of chaos. I should also say the Mexican president is doing a very good job handling Trump; her letters are brilliant.
It is nearly sundown here and I am sitting in the plaza listening to a good singer who sets up a microphone, and just starts to sing.
And I will just smile .
