HEAT!

It is now the middle of June, and It has been very hot since April, and I mean ’90 plus’ hot. I have four fans going and, because I have a king-sized bed, at night I put a fan in the middle of the bed and it blows on me all night long… very comfortable. The planet is heating up. Not sure I want to do this another year, but I certainly want to stay in Mexico, so options?

I have been very busy with my new little concierge business, helping clients sourcing real estate agents, hanging art, publishing books, etc…it has been fun.

My friend Ravi had his surgery in Colorado and is back in Namaste. Friends have passed, had surgery, or are in cancer treatment. I don’t know if this is just age, or if the world is changing at a very fast rate.

I have a Spanish tutor now. It’s time. I have always avoided learning another language, but now that I live here—out of respect—I need to do it. But, for me, not easy at all. I have a patient teacher in Toby, and eight pages of words to master.

I am travelling to Tijuana in July and will drive south to Rosarito Beach on the Baja, very close to the California border, for a week. My friend Becky has a beautiful condo on the ocean.

And …IT JUST STARTED TO RAIN …YIPPEE!
