Well, another year has passed and again I had a wonderful birthday with lots of celebrations. l am a very lucky lady. Messages came from around the world, and had a lot of fun enjoying dinners and celebrations with my friends here in Mexico! For a short video, click here!
On the other side of life, a number of friends are ill. Cancer seems to be taking its toll. Maybe it’s just the age I am at…but I don’t think so. The world is changing at a very fast pace and everything seems to be escalating, with lots of surprises along the way.
My Mexican friend Luna was in her second bodybuilding competition in Guadalajara. She did very well and got a 4th place ribbon. I am very proud of her; it is a lot of work and a tremendous accomplishment. Luna is an excellent Astrologer as well!
I have started a new business as a concierge for this area, supported and sponsored by TWIG (This Week in Guadalajara). Now I am into promotion. This came about because people are always asking me how to find certain contacts and things in the area. We will see how it goes! I love my little adventures.
It is very hot here: 90 degrees. But with ceiling fans and other fans it is livable. Chores get done in the morning and I try to stay out of the heat in the afternoon. I contemplated traveling somewhere in May to escape the heat, but the thought of dealing with packing, airports, borders—which I used to think of as fun—no fun anymore! Maybe just my age!
