I may have hung up my travelling shoes, but I am still very much on the move! I am putting a lot of my focus on my most recent venture, CREATE INSPIRING JOURNEYS. After travelling over 155 countries, it just made sense to share whatever I have learned about safe and inspired adventures with others. ROMANTIC TRIPS OUTSIDE OF GUADALAJARA!

I am delighted to suggest four very romantic destinations around the world…

The beautiful and very magical city of Venice, Italy … Betty’s Tip: Venice is packed with lots of history and culture, and accommodation is available at different price points to fit different budgets.

The very unique and idyllic destination of Santorini, Greek Island … Betty’s Tip: Can be reasonably priced. The best time to visit is late April to early June or late September to early November, because the weather is still good, and it is not a high tourist season.

Go exotic with The Maldives and the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean … Betty’s Tip: A once-in-a-lifetime destination, which can be very pricey, but worth it….you will be waited on in a most royal way!

The former summer retreat spot of  President Truman, Little Palm Island (off the coast of Florida) … Betty’s Tip: This island is very private and very beautiful, with gracious accommodations. White-gloved servers will serve dinner to you on the beach upon request, which is one of many perks that contribute to the higher price point.

I would strongly suggest you don’t plan a European trip during the high season (i.e. the summer). Spring and Fall are much better…with less people, better prices, and no line-ups.
